About Me
MY NAME IS Melanie smart
From a young age, my passion for creation was evident. My wonderfully patient parents supported my artistic pursuits, even when it meant turning our living room into a creative playground or leaving colorful marks on the walls. It's no surprise that I chose to follow this passion all the way to Virginia Tech's esteemed School of Architecture. Today, I continue to thrive on building and creating, and I consider myself fortunate to have turned this passion into a fulfilling profession. With over 20 years in the industry, my journey has been one of continual growth and innovation. When I’m not designing homes, I relish the time spent in my vegetable garden and with my family. The joys and challenges of raising three boys have deepened my understanding of durable materials and the importance of efficient, practical design. This blend of creativity and practicality drives my work and inspires me every day
